Running from one’s
troubles
Like walking under
the rain naked to keep your dress dry
Chasing happiness,
like running after a vague shadow
Loneliness in the
midst of a thousand friends
A mans greatest
conundrum
My heart is
burdened by these mishaps
My fate I can’t
untangle
If global warming
could melt my bothers
If my eyes could
explain this outpour
Things my mouth
have become dumb to say
Quieted… reason
unbeknownst to me
Fearing the chaos
it may trigger
If only these
tears be ceased for words be said
For a million
linger unleashed
Making a million
pokers of my heart
If
love was in the eyes
You’d still be here
If innosense could
parade itself in the eyes
You’d stil have life
If feeling left my
heart and stuck to me eyes
Unravelled
the tendrils of our lives
…if eyes could tell
